“O how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day.” Psalm 119:97
Though I read this Verse back in June, it reflects my purpose of why I read the Bible! Why I do so Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly. I want to Read the Word because I want to Know it; and I want to Know it so I can do what it says. And though it’s not Rocket Science, I can’t Obey the Lord, unless I know what He wants me to do.
This should be true of all those who say they Love the Lord and call themself a Christian. Unfortunately, we live in a Day where some say there are Exceptions. THERE AREN’T!!! Jesus said “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word” John 14:23. Do you see that? Let me underscore that – “If ANYONE loves Me, he WILL keep My word”. And you can’t keep what you don’t know! It’s as simple as that! May this become your desire for the New Year and be true of you in 2023!!!
