Is Mask Wearing Cruel And Unusual Punishment?
Ask any Athlete what they think about the current Mask Ordinance and the answer won’t surprise you. STUPID! And yet, ask the Coach, the Teachers, or the School Officials, and you get varying degrees of Politically Correct answers. Now granted, their Paycheck is often connected to how they answer, so you may not really hear how and what they think. But the ones that really matter, the Kids, are the ones being subject to what I thought was supposed to be outlawed; Cruel and Unusual Punishment. So much for our Supreme Leader, Governor Gretchen Whitmer, knowing what is best.
But be that what it may, if your child wants to play sports (with the exception of swimming) they MUST wear a Mask! No Exceptions!!! Recently, I was able to watch a Grammar School class run around a small track…all wearing masks. Absolutely MAD!
Now I realize that some parents have no other option, but if that were me, I’d have my child home instantly and start Home Schooling. When our kids were young we always came up with creative ways for them to exercise and get rid of that excess energy. Even our home here in Ada Michigan, where there were no options in wintertime, we actually wore the carpet out to our basement stairs. That was “the” place for winter workouts where they would compete against to see how many times they could get up and down in 10 minutes. Oh, the good old days.
