“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!” Psalm 150:6
This is the last verse in the Book of Psalms. Here are some of my concluding thoughts as I move on to Proverbs tomorrow:
The psalmist exhorts “everything that has breath” to praise the Lord. That would include “every” man, woman, boy, and girl, regardless of where they stand before God! The “Duty” of “Praising God” and “Worshiping Him” extends to “All” of Mankind. 8 instruments are listed here for praising the Lord, some we are familiar with, others not at all. Dancing is also listed, though I won’t deal with that today!
And finally, each of the last 5 psalms begin and end with “Praise the Lord” or Hallelujah, which again, underscores the importance of singing and praising God, something we can never quite do enough of!
