“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!” Psalm 133:1
We may not be able to relate to Oil on a head or a beard like David could, or Dew on mountains, but we can relate to the words Good and Pleasant. He also uses the word “Behold”, to get our attention, which is more of a “Hey, Look!” in our vernacular. All told, David describes how Wonderful, how Glorious, how Amazing it is, when Christians or Family, can dwell together in Unity.
For the Christian, we too need to value our Unity. When we find ourselves in agreement with others, then we need to do our utmost to guard our hearts against Anger, Bitterness, Envy, and Jealousy! We need to heed Paul’s admonition “regard one another as more important than yourselves”!
