“Who is like the Lord our God, who is enthroned on high?” Psalm 113:5
This is a Verse that we can read and not put much thought into. It’s just “rhetoric”! “No one” we answer, and move on. But consider what else is said, “The Lord is high above all nations; His glory is above the heavens”. He’s not talking altitude; he’s talking Power and Authority! We know how vast Heaven is; His “glory” exceeds it. “Who humbles Himself to behold the things that are in heaven and in the earth”. He Made All Things, things that we are absolutely stunned by; yet “humbles Himself to behold” them. We are also told He “is enthroned on high”, a King! But not “just” a King, the KING of Kings! ALL Powerful, ALL Knowing, ALL Wise, Sovereign!
So, the Question that we might just rush by and answer quickly, is one that we need to Meditate on a bit more!!!
