Read John 7-9

“Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink.”” John 7:37

We all know what it is to be thirsty; the desire and need to drink. Just as Jesus used this metaphor with the Samaritan Woman, He now uses it in the Temple. He cries out, raises His voice, perhaps shouting, to those that would hear! “Come to Me and drink; drink Living Water, know Thirst no more!”

And just as if a Man were to be freed from his need to drink physical and literal water, so the one who has truly repented, believed, and begun to Walk with Jesus. He has “No Thirst” for the World, and the things in the World!
