Of all the Chapters in the Bible, Isaiah 6 is one that has had the greatest impact in my Life. Like Isaiah, I believe I knew the Lord and had walked with Him for some time. But one day He opened my eyes to see who God was. I saw Him, like Isaiah did, “high and lifted up”. It revealed my utter sinfulness, “I am undone”, the nature of my Sin “I am a man of unclean lips”, and the true state of the Culture I lived in, “I dwell among a people of unclean lips”. Then I saw Christ afresh! He had come, like the Seraph from the Altar, and with transforming Power say to my soul, “your iniquity is taken away and your sin is forgiven”. May He become as real to all of us today!
