“Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us,” Ephesians 3:20
Ephesians is another Book that you could spend pages and pages on in comment. I guess that is why there are so many books on it! Today, I’ve decided to take the last Verse from my reading to comment on. If you’re familiar with this Letter to the Church at Ephesus, you’ll know how Paul takes the readers through a comprehensive treatment of God’s Salvation of His People; from the beginning until the end. That is why I took this Verse to highlight. It is a Final Comment to all that he has just said in the first three Chapters. In Church we call this the Benediction when it is read.
This passage is also a Lifeline to any of God’s People that may be struggling with their circumstances. Paul employs several adjectives describing God’s Ability to answer our Prayers, so much so, that we should be instantly rebuked at our Unbelief. Consider them; Far! More! Abundantly! Beyond! All! We Ask! Think! Is there any room for Doubt, Fear, Anxiety, or Unease? The God, who made a Universe, far greater than we will ever understand, with Unlimited Power, waits for you and your Requests today!!! How Cool is that?
