Read Acts 8-10

“And he said, “Who are You, Lord?” And He said, “I am Jesus whom you are persecuting,”” Acts 9:5

In Today’s Verse, we have the words of a Proud Pharisee who had just met his match. The conversion of Saul is one of the greatest moments in Church History! After assenting to the stoning of Stephen, and ravaging the Church in Jerusalem, this Zealot for God was on his way to Damascus to do more of the same. While in route, this dramatic scene would unfold, with bright light and voice from heaven asking “why are you persecuting me?”. At this time, there was no greater Enemy of God’s People than Saul of Tarsus! In the blink of an eye, God intervened, and Paul the Apostle was born!

If you were to tell any of the Apostles or those early Christians in Jerusalem, that God would be saving Saul of Tarsus and use Him for the building of His Church, they would have all thought you were mad! And yet, that is exactly what He would do. And not only that, He would use Him almost exclusively in the building of the “Gentile” wing of the Church. Let this be a lesson and reminder to all who have unconverted loved ones; there is “No One” beyond God’s Grace and His ability to Save! NO ONE!!!
