Handel’s Messiah

Give it a Listen!

Introduction:

When Billy Ray Hearn started Record Label “Sparrow Records” in 1976, he also created a Division called Birdwing. He would use this for his Children’s Records, (such as Music Machine, Bullfrogs and Butterflies, etc.) as well as his Worship works (such as To The Chief Musician, and John Michael Talbot’s Albums). Into this Group he would also introduce several High Quality Classical works using the London Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir. The first of these was Handel’s Messiah, which came out in 1977 and was a 3 Album set. It would be replaced with the version I was introduced to, and the one I have uploaded to YouTube. It is still my Favorite and I trust you will enjoy it. Christmas would not be the same without it!
