“Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals.”” 1 Corinthians 15:33 Paul begins this Chapter with the words “Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which

“Love never fails;” 1 Corinthians 13:8a For those familiar with 1 Corinthians 13, you’ll know that this Verse is the last of what Paul uses to define Love. In the previous Verses he tells us that “Love is: Patient, Kind, and Not Jealous. It does Not Brag, is Not Arrogant, does Not Act Unbecomingly, does

“If anyone supposes that he knows anything, he has not yet known as he ought to know;” 1 Corinthians 8:2 Paul has been writing to a Church that he loves immensely. As Proverbs tells us, “Faithful are the wounds of a Friend” and he has been doing exactly that for the past 7 Chapters. Here,

“What then shall we say to these things?” Romans 8:31a Paul’s Gospel Journey has continued on, with Yesterday’s Reading describing his Wrestling Match with his Remaining Sin in the latter half of Chapter 7. He then opens Chapter 8 with this Glorious Statement, “Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ

“May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?” Romans 6:2 As the Apostle Paul continues to argue the principles of the Gospel in his Letter to the Romans, he asks them a Question in Verse 1 meant to keep their minds engaged; “Are we to continue in sin
