A Noble and Divine Calling

This Sermon is from a series that Pastor Martin did called “In Praise and Defense of Marriage, Motherhood, & Homemaking”. It is the first Message of that series and was preached at Trinity Baptist Church in Montville, New Jersey on Mother’s Day, May 12, 2002. It ended up being an 18 Message series. Here are some of the Notes from Sermon Audio regarding it:

“The God-given dignity of our precious women and girls continues to be under relentless attack by the forces of darkness. With a burden to herald the truth of God’s Word in addressing pertinent and related issues revolving around this important topic, and while being sensitive to single and childless women, Pastor Martin preached a series of messages entitled, “In Praise and Defense of Marriage, Motherhood and Homemaking.”

In demonstrating that marriage, motherhood and homemaking is indeed a noble and divine calling, he opens the series by showing, from the Scriptures, the direct relationship of this issue to the gospel itself and the need for a radical commitment to God, issuing in a growing non-conformity to the thinking and acting of the world (part 1 of 18).
