“Jesus answered and said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again; but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”” John 4:13-14
I read a quote from a scientist this morning, that after 30 years of trying to address Mankind’s greatest need, he has come to the conclusion that his problem is actually spiritual. Interesting how Jesus addressed this same issue with the woman at the well when He said “Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again”.
I have reflected on this verse before, but to be honest, I think I could benefit by reflecting on it every day! Some thoughts for today: This is true for the Unbeliever. He will NEVER be satisfied with this World and the Things in it. Only Jesus can fill that need!!! This is also true for Us that Believe. Unless you are going to Him and finding your Satisfaction and Contentment in Him, you will NOT find it elsewhere! If you are, STOP IT!!! Go to Christ now and be Satisfied!
