“Son of man, set your face toward Gog of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him” Ezekiel 38:2
Each year, as I reach these last chapters of Ezekiel, I am confronted by the same feelings. There are things in the Bible I still do not understand. Starting with Chapter 37 and the vision of the dry bones, to the end of the Book, you have a laborious description of things and events, that may, or may not, take place! Are they Figurative? Are they Literal? Are they a combination of Both? I don’t think we will actually know until we get to Heaven!
But be that what it may, there are things we can take away from Chapters 38 & 39. God is in control of ALL THINGS! He has unlimited Power, and can choose to use it whenever He chooses! He has a Plan, and will execute it regardless of whether Man believes in Him or not! He has a People, and will protect them, even when things look totally impossible to do so! He has a Judgement Day coming, which sometimes comes when Man least expects it! These, we can agree on, and should make our Love of the Gospel even more Glorious!
